This law allows qualified off duty and retired law enforcement officers to carry concealed firearms in all 50 states. A-885 Passed * * November, 2004 Legislation has been introduced into the 211th Legislature that will remove the confidential employee status from investigators in the Division of Criminal Justice. On 11/15/04 the General Assembly PASSED A885 by a vote of 76-2, The Senate bill S-1801 has been sent to the Senate Judiciary Committee for review.
